The day will provide an opportunity to:
- Share your experience of living with a stoma with fellow ostomates.
- Meet Ostomy Advocate Natalie, who speaks openly about her life with a stoma, acknowledging that not every day is easy but emphasising that it never stops her from enjoying life.
- Meet the nursing team from Medway NHS Foundation Trust.
- Talk to Hollister and Dansac about their latest product innovations specifically designed in support of security, skin health, and sustainability.
- Meet a representative from Fittleworth to learn more about your home delivery service and the additional free resources we provide – created by specialist nurses and a variety of qualified experts, on topics such as diet, nutrition, hydration, exercise, and relationships, so you can focus on with living well.
- Hear about sustainability in action! Find out how your clinicians are making a difference to reduce their impact on the planet. You’ll hear more about the Trust’s Green Plan and what this means for the suppliers of your medical items with the opportunity for you to share your ideas!
- Local Ostomy Associations invited to attend.
- Refreshments will be provided.
