When we recruit we are looking to answer the same three questions as everyone else:
Can this person do the job (do they have the right skills, experience and qualifications?)
Will this person do the job? (do they have right level of motivation or work ethic, are they enthused in the position and the Company)
And finally will this person fit in? (are they right for the team and the Company’s culture)
The difference at Fittleworth is that these standard questions are reversed and the question of fit comes first – we need to ensure we recruit and retain the right people, people with compassion and empathy – who want to do the right thing by our clients, who have the clients’ interests at heart rather than their own, as that is what you need if you are to get on within our Company.
