We have been informed by our supplier Vernacare, that some batches of wet wipes need to be recalled as a precautionary measure.
New wet wipes can be provided in your next order on request.
If you feel you need some urgently, please only contact us if you find one of the below batch codes on your product.
You can find the batch code on the back (see picture below).
With a national shortage of wet wipes due to this recall, we appreciate your patience while we return to normal stock levels. (Please be aware that wet wipes are not to be used for the purposes of cleaning intimate areas, including stomas.)
The reason for the recall is that a microbial contamination was detected in several product batches. Whilst Vernacare have confirmed that there is currently no evidence of any detected cases here in the UK, this recall forms part of a precautionary measure.
