Our nurses are highly skilled and knowledgeable specialists, trained specifically to care for people with continence and ostomy issues, with both our Clinical Liaison Nurse Support Service and the Community Nurse Team registered with the independent regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our objective is to help you live your life by providing tailored advice on the issues that matter to you – anything from good hygiene and appropriate product use through to helping you to manage your condition.
Where available, our nurses can visit you in the comfort of your own home or meet with you in one of our dedicated clinics to help you manage your urology condition or stoma independently, recognising issues as they arise and helping you to resolve them.
The services we offer are confidential and discreet, covering a range of topics, including:
For life-threatening urgent medical attention, please call 999.
For all non-urgent enquiries you should contact either your GP, local pharmacist or NHS healthcare professional. If you are worried about an urgent concern, call NHS 111 to speak to a fully trained advisor. Depending on the situation the helpline staff will assess your needs and if required send an ambulance.
